This is my main blog so in other words, a giant scrambled mess of all my thoughts. I am perusing technical theatre as my career, hoping to one day maybe accept a Tony for my set or lighting design. Theatre is were my true passion lies, although art and theatre overlap all of the time. I made two 4's (the highest score you can get) in VASE but sadly didn't get to move on to state. Always room for improvment I suppose, but I'm not optimistic lol. More of a pessimist really. On that subject, I live in America but have no nationalism whatsoever so there will be some sort of political article on my blog at some time or another. I like to write lil fanfic stories, you can find the link right here if that peaks your interest.

I am pansexual, which if you don't know, just means I can have feelings for anyone regardless of gender. Although I do have more of a preference for girls but I'm not just a confused lesbian, everyone has something they prefer like blue eyes or dark hair. I reblog TONS of LGBT+ content but most of the things centered around my sexuality or the community as a whole can be found in this tag. I don't appreciate TERFS.
As I said before, I'm in a lot of fandoms so this blog usually ends up being the fuckfest/miscellaneous blog. If you want to get specific, I have this blog for anime and this blog for musicals, although most of my Les Miserables content ends up on this blog because I just love my barricade boys so much. The only night that this blog becomes mainly musical theatre related is during the Tony's in which, if you hate musicals, I suggest you blacklist the tag. I have opinions and will fight anyone.
In regards to other fandoms, I have this tag for mostly everything Sherlock related. I don't really blog about it anymore since the disappointing mess that was S4 and even if S5 does miraculously come out, I probably won't be bloggin about it much either. To put it plainly, I have no hatred towards any of the actors and love all of them to pieces. My main beef is with the writers and their inability to write a cohesive show and care enough about the fans of said show. I won't funnel my time and energy into something that clearly doesn't want it lol. Any other fandoms don't really have a tag, as I said this is so unorganized.

To any fic writers who worry they are wasting their time… I read a fic for a relatively small and inactive fandom about three years ago. And there was one specific scene where a character watched another dancing like an idiot to a beyonce song and it was so sweet and loving that even now years later I have that song on one of my spotify playlist so every once in a while it will play and remind me of that fic, and every time it does I smile and feel a little happier.
The stats on a fic will never really tell you if your writing touched someone. There’s no numerical way to show you what impact you made. Maybe you are wasting time, or maybe you are writing something that someone will remember for a long time, something that will never fail to make them smile.
I love this, because there’s obviously something very clever going on to analyse patterns of language, but it’s also profoundly ignorant.

Story time: this reminds me of some kids in an English class I’m in. They were doing written work and the teacher and I were going around checking their work. They had to do like, “do/do not”, and one example was “prepare”. Something like “My father does not/doesn’t prepare dinner”. I look at this one kid’s paper and this galaxy-brained child had written “My father preparen’t dinner” and it took everything in me to not lose it laughing right there like. This child saw a pattern and ran with it and I respect that.
Intermittentlysmitten hid this in the tags and shouldn’t have.
Reminds me of that post on how Irish(?) doesn’t have a way to use “yes” or “no” to answer a verb question, or something like that, so that if somebody asks if you murdered somebody you can’t say “yes” or “no,” you have to say “I did murder” or “I didn’t murder,” which led my brain to produce the negative verb “murdidn’t.”
not to give pirates of the caribbean too much credit but it really is the only major franchise Ive seen that was able to pull off the “historical and mythical exist at the same time” with any sort of success
